Have you read this story from the New York Times? I can't believe that itty-bitty lady in the picture almost single-handedly turned this hunting shack into a Victorian gingerbread house!!

I am fascinated by stories about women who build or decorate houses to help them through a tough time.
Case in point: I must have watched "Under the Tuscan Sun" about 200 times (the book is nothing like the movie)! Some of my favorite scenes are when you see Frances cooking for her carpenters. Remember that? You see the evolution of her kitchen and dining area and even the quality of her china improves as her soul heals.
What do you think of this NY times story?
XOXO,
