Sky Blue

Diggin' the sky painting.  Speaking of SKY, I once left a house painter to paint a couple of clouds on mini-sassy's light blue nursery ceiling. I gave him pretty clear instructions. I said: just paint the sky outside. 6 hours later, I come back to a tempestuous , grey sky scape . WHAT THE?! In response, the painter just pointed outside..... where a typhoon was brewing. Touche, Mr Painter... Touche!

Cottage Cheese Pancakes with Berry Coulis

Here's what I made for breakfast today: Cottage Cheese Pancakes and a Cherry- Blackberry Coulis. It's one of the recipes that I had tacked on my breakfast nook wall ( A Cook's Challenge) ,  but instead of the rhubarb compote the recipe required, I just simmered a few frozen cherries and blackberries in sugar and a little water and voila! Delicious!
